Bedrock

This unique bowl was hand carved out of about 500g of wet clay, then glazed and fired several times in our studio in Ajuda, Lisbon.

The result of this bowl reflects the true nature of what the ocean does to rock. The inside is the ocean itself. That is the whole piece. 

The bowl is a part of an ongoing series, called O Mar which explores the unpredictable beauty of what the ocean can do to rock.
