This small hand carved cup, shaped from a solid block of clay and glazed in celadon.
Sized for an espresso, or whatever you need to slow down for.
The outside carries the marks of the hand carving, rough, intentional and textured. The interior is the surprise. During the firing the glaze pooled and formed a tree, scattered with small fragments of colour that couldn't have been planned. Every piece fires differently.
