This unique bowl was carved from a block of mixed light clay from Poland, Germany and Spain. It was first shaped in a wet clay method, slowly dried for two weeks before being hand carved. The texture on the outside was deliberately left close to the state from which the clay was taken from the water in the studio. The bowl has been fired multiple times at stoneware with an addition of ocean ware glazes. Introducing the elements of fire and air. The complex process of creating this bowl make it impossible to replicate, many of the textures are created by collaboration with the forces of nature at that time.
